For years, I thought my relationship with God depended on how well I performed—how much I prayed, how devoted I was, how “good” I could be. But then I discovered the truth: I was never meant to strive for closeness with God. I was already one with Him. His presence wasn’t something I needed to chase; it was something I already had. The moment I stopped trying to earn what was already mine, everything changed. What if you stopped striving and simply rested in the love and connection that has always been yours?
For so long, I felt like I was chasing after God—striving, proving, trying to earn His love. But what if we were never meant to strive at all? What if God was never far from us, never waiting for us to measure up? The illusion of separation keeps us stuck, believing we must do more to be enough.
